Founded in 2015, Concord is a global resources merchant, trader and investor focused primarily on the trading and risk management of non-ferrous metals and associated raw materials markets and is the majority owner of Atlantic Alumina Company LLC, which operates the Gramercy alumina refinery in Louisiana, USA and the Discovery bauxite mines, Jamaica. 

The group has grown to become one of the leading global independent metals and minerals traders.

On 30 June 2021, Concord acquired a controlling interest in Atlantic Alumina Company LLC(“ATALCO”), a U.S. based holding company owning an alumina refinery in Gramercy, Louisiana (“Gramercy”), and the Discovery Bauxite Partners mines in Jamaica, St Ann (“St Ann”). Concord has further equity investments in Sienna Metals (a cobalt investment company), Niche European Holdings LLC and Nevada Copper, a growing producer of copper in the United States, and early-stage investments in technology companies aligned with the industry in which they operate. 

In 2021, Concord successfully concluded its sixth year of operation with business transactions in 39 countries and delivered over 3.2 million tons to over 710 unique customers. The Group had revenues of US$5.4 billion. 

In 2022, Spice group increased its participation in Concord ressources.
