In 2015, in partnership with the Emerald Collection Resort Group of hotels, we acquired from the Maldivian government a private virgin island “Fasmendhoo” to build an exclusive luxury resort and offer a unique experience to our guests.

Officially opening its doors in December 2019, the five-star hotel is in the Raa Atoll, North district, one of the most beautiful atolls of the Maldives.

Designed by the famous architect Edward David Poole, the resort offers 120 Luxurious Villas and is surrounded by 1.5km of white sandy beach on a 20-hectare private island. An oasis of bliss that offers the guests the opportunity to dine in 4 restaurants whom each bear a different concept and choose between a wide variety of activities through the Water Sport Center, the Diving Center, a 1500 sqm Dolphin Kids Club, a Gym & Sport Center, and the Emerald Spa.

Member of Leading Hotels of the World, 5* Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa has won the prestigious accolade of Indian Ocean’s Leading New Resort 2020 from World Travel Awards 2020.

The Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa has also been accredited by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council in 2020.

In 2021, we were awarded of “ World’s Leading Luxury Private Island Resort 2021”  in the 28^th annual World Travel Award. This represents the ultimate achievements in global travel and tourism.
